If you have ever been on the Internet and found a great model tank that you would love to have but it was from another country feel free to order it anyway. Even if you get the model in and the instructions are all in another language you can easily assemble your tank anyway. You do not need to be able to read German just to assemble a Panzer tank. With just a bit of patience and some willingness to do a bit of research you can assemble your tank just as you would any other no matter what the language is.

One of the first things you must do is to figure out if there is a way that you can do any translation work. If you know what country your model comes from then you will have a head start on how to go about this. There are many free online sites that will do free basic translation for you if you can type in the necessary words. Type in any sentences you would like to have translated and then choose the languages you are translating to and from.

The next step you can take is to work from the pictures. Each picture will usually lay out the parts in the order that they are to be assembled which can make it much easier to work with. One thing you can do is to mark the sprue itself with a little bit of nail polish or paint with each color representing a different step. This will help you keep each one separate and make assembly much easier. If you find that you are missing parts then you might have a bit of trouble.

See if the company that made the model has an international phone number and then try calling to see if they can provide replacement parts. If not then you might have to improvise just a bit by making a replacement part out of bits of the sprue or from another similar model. While it can be a bit of a hassle it is by no means impossible. Once you have all the parts identified and marked you can then begin to assemble your model tank as you normally would any other. Make sure that you do a dry fit so you know that the parts fit right where they belong rather than chance them being the wrong ones.

With a bit of skill and a lot of luck you will soon have a great looking model tank that you can proudly display. Buying a foreign made model should not be a stumbling block in your hobby. You should feel fee to be confident that you can assemble any model to which you put your mind.
