It is important to note that all of the men who have had a problem with Viagra and blindness did have a unique risk factor as well, called a small optic cup to disk ration. This is basically a small indentation that is right in the middle of the optic nerve.
Many men have already had great results when taking Viagra; however, these problems with the drug should never be taken lightly. In some cases it may be a good idea to have your eyes examined before you start taking Viagra today and if you ever have any problems with your vision when taking Viagra, you should stop taking it and get medical attention as soon as you can. Also, before you begin taking Viagra, make sure that you let your doctor know about all the medications you are on and about all the health problems that you have as well.
More than likely most men are not going to deal with this devastating side effect of Viagra; however, it is important that you are informed about this side effect before you start to take Viagra. It is true that many men have used this drug with no problems at all, and over the years there are only 14 cases that have been documented among the millions of men that take Viagra on a regular basis. So, this is probably not a side effect that you are going to deal with, although you can never be too careful.
