Some men have reported more serious problems like reduced vision or hearing, but studies have not determined if these are actually caused by Viagra. However, if they occur medical treatment should be sought and the use of Viagra discontinued.
The most potentially dangerous side effect from the use of Viagra is an erection lasting more then four hours. This is a very rare occurrence but immediate medical attention should be sought if it occurs. Overall, Viagra has proven itself to be among the safest and most effective medications on the market today.
